Sup fellow forum users! Sorry I’ve been gone so long and neglecting the maintenance of the site. Didn’t want to deal with it too much at the time.
Anyway, now I’m back in action and plan on working on the site little by little. One of the things that I think needs to be addressed the most is the fact that we have 3 separate forums for each class. I think it would probably be a better idea to consolidate the forums into one. This not only makes it easier for the admins, but it opens the lines of communication between the classes. This action = awesome and I know you guys will agree with me once it is done.
Also of note, OSA has agreed to financially sponsor this site, so paying your dues not only supports OSA, but it also states that you are in full support of these forums. Therefore, if you haven’t paid your OSA/STOA/AOSA dues, contact your class reps ASAP!
If you have any more suggestions, please contact me via e-mail (achen.2009@alumni….). More news to come. More exciting features as well! Have a great Fall semester! - Alex

We are going to have a competition to see who will represent us at the AOSA Superbowl in Seattle this year. Honestly, the questions aren’t that tough and I know 1st and 2nd years could compete just as well as 3rd years. Please contact Erik Haselhorst if you are interested in competing!

Students & Faculty,
M.D. Anderson will be on campus Monday, March 31st from 9am-2pm for a blood drive. Please participate in donating blood to help save lives! The drive will take place in the coach near the deck in the student parking lot.
Please e-mail me or call so I can put your name on the list, as well as the approximate time you wish to give blood. This will help M.D. Anderson know how many people to expect. If you are unsure of the exact time you plan to donate, that is perfectly OK too.
Thank you for your help! M.D. Anderson is counting on us. Last year’s drive was a huge success, and we hope to make this one even bigger!
Sincerely,
Taylor Ballard

Fact about blood donation: Patients undergoing bone marrow transplants need platelet donations from about 120 people and red blood cells from about 20 people.
